ബൈനോക്കുലർ – മികച്ച അംഗീകാരങ്ങളുമായി ഒരു സന്ദേശ ചിത്രം യുവതലമുറയെ തകർക്കുന്ന മയക്കുമരുന്നിന്ന് എതിരെ മികച്ചസന്ദേശവുമായി എത്തുകയാണ് ബൈനോക്കുലർ എന്ന കൊച്ചു ചിത്രം. ഐസക് നൂട്ടൻ സൺ ഓഫ് ഫീലിപ്പോസ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ രചയിതാവ് കൃഷ്ണനുണ്ണി രചനയും സംവിധാനവും നിർവ്വഹിച്ച ഈ ചിത്ര ത്തിൽ ,സലിം കുമാറും, സൺഡേ ഹോളിഡേ എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധേയനായ ഹരി നമ്പോത എന്നിവരാണ് പ്രധാന വേഷത്തിൽ എത്തുന്നത്. ലോകത്തിലെ മികച്ച ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീ വലുകളിൽ മികച്ച ചിത്രമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെ ടുകയും, ഇരുപതോളം രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവലുകളിൽ ഒഫീഷ്യൽ സെലക്ഷൻ ലഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ചിത്രം, യാസ് എൻ്റർടൈ മെൻ്റിനു വേണ്ടി മുഹമ്മദ് അഷർഷാ,ശ്രീജിത്ത് രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്നാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചത്.
ജിവിതം അകന്നു നിന്ന് കാണാതെ, അടുത്ത് നിന്ന് കാണുമ്പോഴാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ സത്യങ്ങൾ ബോധ്യമാവുന്നത് എന്ന സന്ദേശവുമായെത്തുന്ന ബൈനോക്കുലർ മികച്ച അഭിപ്രായമാണ് നേടിയ ത്.തടിമിൽ തൊഴിലാളിയാണ് കണാരൻ (സലിം കുമാർ) ഭാര്യ മുമ്പേ മരണപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരേയൊരു മകൻ കണ്ണൻ. (ഹരി നമ്പോത ) മകനു വേണ്ടി ജീവിക്കുന്നവനാണ് കണാരൻ. കണ്ണനാണെങ്കിൽ അലസൻ.സ്വന്തം നിക്കറു പോലും കഴുകിയിടാൻ അവന് സമയമില്ല. അപ്പനോട് കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞ് പണം വാങ്ങി ധൂർത്തടിക്കും. പതുക്കെ അവൻ മയക്കുമരുന്നിന് അടിമയാകുകയായിരുന്നു.
സൺഡേ ഹോളിഡേ, മോഹൻകുമാർ ഫാൻസ്, എബി, മിസ്റ്റർ ആൻഡ് മിസ്സിസ് റൗഡി തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ മികച്ച വേഷം അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഹരി നമ്പോതയാണ് കണ്ണൻ എന്ന പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്ര ത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.സലിംകുമാർ കണാരനെ യും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. നിർമ്മാതാവ് മുഹമ്മദ് അഷർഷാ നെഗറ്റീവ് കഥാപാത്രമായ ഗുരുജിയേ യും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാവരും മികച്ച പ്രകട നമാണ് നടത്തിയത്.ടെൻത് ഡൽഹി ഇൻ്റർനാഷ് ണൽ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവലിൽ “ഹോണറബിൾ ജുറി മെൻഷൻ” , ഐമാക് ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവലിൽ “മിക ച്ച സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രസക്ത ചിത്രം” ആയി തിരഞ്ഞെടു ത്ത ബൈനോക്കുലർ ,മൂൺ വൈറ്റ് ഇൻ്റർനാഷ് ണൽ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവൽ (ഇന്ത്യ), ഇൻസൈഡ് നോളിവുഡ് ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവൽ,( നൈജീരിയ) , ഫ്രീ സ്പിരിറ്റ് ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റീവൽ (ടിബറ്റൻ), തുടങ്ങി
